ROBEX LUNDGREN – interview with CEREBRUM
09.03.19

Have any of you played in other bands? Yes,some of us have played with other bands, but our main band is Cerebrum.
How is it that you started playing music? I guess it was just the need to express ourselves through it.
What are your names? / Who plays what? / How old are you?
Mike Papadopoulos – Gtr
Jim Touras – Gtr, Vocals
George Skallkos – Bass
Defkalion Dimos – Drums
Have you had other previous members?
Yes.We had other members in all instruments and vocals except from the two guitarists who also started the band.
Where are you from?
 We are from Athens-Greece
What year did the band form? The band was formed on 2002
What’s your style of genre?
We are playing technical/progressive death metal.. Caverject, beaucoup asgg.fr/ sildénafil données plus cher.
What inspires you? Everything…from a movie,an image,a random thought…Inspiration is something you can t control.
it just comes and you must be prepared for it..
How have you developed since you started with the music? We have become more proficient after all these years in many ways…not only technically with our instruments but also in the way we deal with everything surrounding the band and our music
Do you have other interests of work outside the band? Two of us are also sound engineers…
Are you looking for a booking agency, and what are your thoughts around that?
We are always open and willing to work with people who really want to help the band and not only make money from it. So ,yes we are…but only an agency who really believes in the band and wants to work with us seriously..
Are you looking for a label, and what are your thoughts around that?
We are currently in the making of our third album…we will look for a label when the album is ready.
Again its the same thing as before…We only want to work with people who take ther job seriously…
We are not going to sign with a label which will just cut some cds.
What made you decide to make this music?
It just came out naturally…It was what we liked to play…
What are your songs about?

The lyrics on the second album are not about a specific theme with the exception of two songs.
They are a bit ”abstract” and free to be interpreted by anyone according to his own point of view
or state of mind that he is at the time.
Who does the composing and writes the lyrics? Mike and Jim write all the music…Lyrics on the first album were written by our ex singer Apollon. On the second and third (unreleased yet)album lyrics are written by Mike
Do you start with the music or the lyrics?
We start with the music first…But in many cases lyrics are being written in the same time
without knowing in which song they will end up
Have you done any covers live?
No we have not…Until now we only play our music…
What language do you sing in? English
What ages are most of your concert attendants? Thats really hard to tell…maybe 18-30…but thats just a guess.
Do you always play the same songs live, or do you vary?
It depends…when on tour the setlist is mostly the same with maybe a few changes. In others gigs we change our set most of the times
Do you have a regular place you play live often? No. There is not such a play for this kind of music here…
What was your latest gig? Our latest gig was supporting At The Gates
Have you had to cancel a gig?
No.Until now this has never happened
Where do you plan to gig the comming year?
We will try to play in as mamy places we can..
When did you start to sell merchandise, and what do you have for sale?
We have merch since our first record was out..We still have cds from both our albums and t-shirts..
Where can people buy your merchandise?
Anyone interested can check our merch her. https://www.facebook.com/CEREBRUMOFFICIAL?v=app_150178545006427
What do you think about people downloading music instead of buying records nowadays? Well everybody does it nowadays…its good to be able to check new music but i think that when you like somethink you must support the bands by buying it
How do you think the music industry have changed because of this?
Its simple…less sales, less money less support for the bands…And in many cases they even ask money from new bands in order to release their album.
Is it easier to find inspiration from older bands, or bands that are more active today? We are not really looking in other bands for inspiration…Now if you mean what we like to listen to,i think old school bands
Do you have any new material? Yes..our third album is almost ready and soon we ll start recording..
